No more baths.

Bryson has always loved taking baths: long, long baths. He plays in the bath tub forever. All of a sudden last night he decided that he wants to take showers like mommy and daddy do. So, here he is posing after his first shower like a big boy. It makes me sad to see him growing up so quickly right before my eyes. It seemed like yesterday that I had to help him do so many things, and now he brushes his own teeth, puts his own clothes on, pours his own drinks (sometimes), etc. and now I can add takes showers on his own to the list. He didn't even need me to do his water. I am afraid if I blink he'll be a grown boy, so I think I'll keep my eyes open as long as I possibly can. At least I am about to start all over in the baby department, that should keep me satisfied for a while longer at least.

A big day!

Yesterday was a big day for two reasons: 1st I turned 30 years old yesterday and 2nd I turned 30 weeks pregnant yesterday. It was a really good day. My parents had us over for birthday dinner that evening and my grandma got to come which was really nice. She is finally getting out and doing more things since my grandpa passed away. We had great evening. I also can't believe I finally hit the 30 week mark. I've been thinking all along that once 30 weeks gets here, it is getting pretty close. Well, now we're there and it is so exciting. I went to Wal-Mart and registered today, which was really fun. I forgot how much fun that is, and how cute baby girl things are. We are getting so excited!
Family picture at the birthday party. Aren't my boys so handsome?
My sister, my mom, my grandma, and me.

Mommy and daughters. Boy, look at that big belly in the middle!

Bryson giving his baby sister a kiss. He does this a lot. He also love to talk to her at my belly. He says the sweetest things and he always starts with "This is your big brother Bryson..."

30 weeks along and still growing. I don't know how much more I can stretch that shirt out. It has become my favorite shirt and I wear it all the time. I'll probably keep stretching it until it rips apart!

Christmas 2008

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It is hard to believe that this is our last Christmas with only Brian, Bryson, and I. Next year will be so different. We are looking forward to sharing our first Christmas with Madelyn next year. She even got a few presents this year! We really enjoyed all the time we were able to spend with our families. I couldn't decide which pictures to add, so here are a few of my favorites. Yes, I am definately growing! This is at 26 weeks. Madelyn must have been enjoying herself because she was kicking and moving around all day on Christmas.
Family picture, with Bryson and his cheesy smile!
Cheese!
My goofy husband and his brother. Kevin and his wife Rebecca are also expecting and are due just 1 day before us! I guess they got jealous of everyone wanting to take our pictures of our swollen bellies that they wanted some attention too. So, here they are showing off their bellies as well. They always keep us laughing! There is never a dull moment around the Yeager house.
Rebecca and I, both 26 weeks along. We are due one day apart and are very excited to be sharing this experience with each other. We've been given strict orders not to go into labor on the same day! We'll see what happens. We are having a girl and they are having a boy. Next Christmas is going to be so much different!
